Center for Young Adult Addiction and Recovery

College should be a place where students can heal, grow, and thrive.
We support young adults in recovery and help them build healthy, successful lives in school and beyond.

Recovery community

Why Collegiate Recovery Matters

College can be overwhelming. Academic pressure, new environments, and cultural norms around drinking can make it harder for students in recovery to stay well.

CYAAR exists so recovery is not isolated, hidden, or unsupported. We create safe spaces, build peer community, and make it possible for students to succeed with wellness at the center.
