Supporting students in recovery by helping them maintain a balance in their academic, work and social life creating a wellness strategy that sustains long-term recovery.
Students in our program instantly connect to a community of other students that are dedicated to a lifestyle of abstinence from drugs and alcohol, a commitment to education, and a focus on post-college careers. Participants receive preferred class schedules, coaches and counseling, educational opportunities regarding recovery, and social events. Colleges report that students in recovery programs on average have a higher GPA and graduation rate.
Our dedicated professionals manage all aspect of the program including the student application process, providing coaching and counseling, promoting connections to the recovery community, and creating and running meetings and events. We keep students and their families educated about recovery and wellness strategies through our portal, in seminars, and other events. We connect with the community, raise awareness about our program and connect people and businesses with opportunities to financially support us.
From the Association for Recovery in Higher Education, "A collegiate recovery program (CRP) is a College or University-provided, supportive environment within the campus culture that reinforces the decision to engage in a lifestyle of recovery from substance use. It is designed to provide an educational opportunity alongside recovery support to ensure that students do not have to sacrifice one for the other."
