Having medication stored at home that has expired or is no longer needed may present temptations and dangers for individuals struggling with addiction.  Some drugs may safely be flushed, but others need to be taken to a medicine disposal site.  In this one-page document, the FDA gives links to the drugs that can be disposed of at home and those that need to be disposed of elsewhere along with a way to find those disposal sites.
